When my oldest daughter was 5 years old, she developed severe itching resulting from dry skin that caused her to scratch uncontrollably until it bled. As a mom, it was heart wrenching looking at her scratch marks particulary on her arms and legs. I bought all kinds of skincare products, cheap to expensive, local and imported, and none of them helped alleviate my daugther’s skin problem.
Hoping for an answer, I read numerous amount of information about itchy skin on the internet. I stumbled upon an article about how natural soap soothed itch skin and it got my attention. At that time, natural soap was not popular and not easily purchased in Indonesia. Looking at my daugther’s skin condition, I was determined to try making my own natural soap. From the internet, books and videos, I gathered information on how-to-make natural soap at home. After multiple attempts, I finally got my natural bar soap right!
Fast forward two months after using natural bar soap, I noticed my daugther’s skin gradually got better and her itch had subsided tremendously. I never realized the power of natural ingredients on skin health until I experienced it myself. From my personal journey, Onette was born.
